On Wednesday, Epic Games confirmed that they are going to partner up with Major Lazer to bring some exciting new items in Fortnite. They claimed that players will get a chance to grab a Major Lazer Outfit, two songs, two emotes, and a golden back bling and pickaxe. And now, the collaboration has finally gone live, meaning that players can now visit the in-game store to purchase these items.

The Major Lazer Bundle

The Major Laze Bundle basically features a total of seven items themed after the music group. To being with, we have the “Major Lazer” that has been labeled as an Epic outfit. If you look closely, then you’ll realize that this is the Jamaican superhero from the animated show called Major Lazer. This animated show ran back in 2015 and featured a total of 15 episodes.

The Major Lazer set also has two songs. The first one is Default Vibe and the second one is Default Fire. Both of them are basically remixes of the song that plays whenever we use the default dance in the match. In addition to this, there is one dance set, Lazer Blast, and an emote called “Lazer Flex.”

How Much Does It Cost?

If you’re interested in getting the entire Major Lazer Bundle, then you will have to spend a total of 2,475 V-Bucks on it. While this might seem a lot, it is safe to say that these are some of the coolest cosmetic items we’ve seen in a long time. Some players even think that the Major Lazer outfit is better than the Marvel Black Widow outfit and the Stranger Things Demogorgon outfit. Make sure to act quickly as these items are available for a limited time only.

B.R.U.T.E Has Now Been Nerfed

On the other hand, Epic Games has also decided to nerf the mechanical robot, B.R.U.T.E. Since this vehicle was added to the game, players have complained about how powerful it is. Not only this but even the Fortntie World Cup Champion, Bugha claimed that he is tired of this robot. And now, instead of removing it from the game, the developers have decided to make some changes to the overpowered robot.

The nerf has basically decreased the number of maximum rockets that can be fired by the robot, and the rate of rockets that can be fired. In addition to this, the radius of the rocket explosions has been now removed. Previously, players were able to receive materials by just stomping on trees and buildings with the robot. However, this will not happen anymore.

Epic Games has also increased the health of the robot from 1,000 HP to 1,250. This has been done to give players a longer window to play strategically with this robot. Aside from this, the spawn rate has also been changed, meaning that only a few players will now get to use the mechanical robot during a match.
