Team Secret are the third and final team to receive a direct invite to the Perfect World Masters minor taking place in November.

Only yesterday it was announced that both Newbee and LGD Forever Young had received the first two of three invites, being the first of the ProCircuit events so far to invite more two teams. Perfect World Masters minor, in fact, is the first to also feature more than eight teams total, opting to include ten teams total – three direct invites, one qualified team for EU, NA, SA, SEA and CIS each with two qualified teams coming in from China.

The ten teams will be competing for a slice of the $300,000 prize pool and 300 qualifying points November 19-26 in Shanghai, China.

The European open qualifiers kicked off yesterday with the other regions getting ready to follow over the course of the next two days. Until now only the Chinese regional qualifying teams have been revealed. Chinese regional qualifiers will begin September 27th, the other regions are expected to take place around the same time.

After an unsatisfactory performance at The International 2017, where they placed 9th/12th, Maurice ‘KheZu’ Gutmann and Noa ‘MP’ Pyo kicked off the post-TI reshuffle when they were dropped from Team Secret.

Three weeks ago the squad finalized their roster, bringing in Marcus ‘Ace’ Hoelgaard and Adrian ‘Fata’ Trinks to fill the vacant spots. The team has since made their debut appearing in several of the ProCircuit closed qualifier events with strong showings in StarLadder iLeague Minor, PGL Bucharest Open Minor and will be competing tomorrow in the ESL One Major qualifiers.
