Apex Legends is currently going through some tough times since the past few weeks. Because of the lack of content and various bugs and glitches, many players have decided to leave the game. In fact, a popular streamer who goes by the name “Shroud” even claimed that he will soon quit playing Apex Legends and focus more on other battle royale titles. Because of all this, many fans were wondering what the developers will do about all these issues. And now, Respawn Entertainment has finally decided to give an update on the current state of Apex Legends.

Respawn Promises Long Term Support

In a recent blog post, Respawn Entertainment confirmed that they are well aware of each and every issue and are continuously working on trying to fix them. In addition to this, they further claimed that they will offer long-term support for the game, something which many fans wanted to hear. They even stated that their long-term goal is to make the game always feel alive and thriving for players, and they are planning to achieve this by always prioritizing quality of content over its speed of release.

Respawn also decided to clear some confusions related to their on-going and future projects. They basically claimed that the studio is not shifting the resources of the team working on Apex Legends to other titles, and they are not even pulling any resources from the team currently working on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Although this was something pleasing to hear because they are keeping a good balance among their teams, what they further said left many fans surprised.

New Titanfall Game Delayed

Many fans are surely glad to see that the developers are focusing more on improving the stability of Apex Legends, but all of this comes at a price. In the blog post, Respawn claimed that they will be delaying the future Titanfall games so they can focus more on improving Apex Legends. “In order to fully support Apex Legends, we are pushing out plans for future Titanfall games,” claimed Respawn.

Respawn’s decision of putting the future Titanfall games on hold has disappointed many fans of the series. Apex Legends players, on the other hand, are glad to see that the developers are fully committed to improving the game. Respawn has also confirmed that they are working on fixing various server issues as well as lag issues present in the game. In addition to this, the developers have also claimed that they are trying their best to solve the problem of cheating in the game.

Respawn’s Efforts

Respawn has been trying its best to make the game playable for everyone. Since the game’s debut, which was in February, the developers have banned thousands of players who were caught using cheats in the game. In the previous week, Respawn also confirmed that they are going to stick with the seasonal update release schedule for Apex Legends because they want to focus more on improving the stability of the game rather than just adding content.
