PlayerUnknown’s Battle Grounds is one of the most popular battle royale titles out there just like Fortnite and Apex Legends. Its popularity can be seen from the fact that its developers managed to make around $920 million in revenue last year. The very reason why the game has always been the favourite title of many players is its stability. Its developers have always tried their best to keep the game well and running through various updates. And now, they have released a new update which has brought improvements to various sections of the game.

Changes Introduced for Vikendi
To start with, players will be able to see some changes to Vikendi after this latest update. To make the map more long-range based, the number of snipers in the map have been increased, while MK47 mutant has also been added. Not only this, but short-range weapons will appear less now on the map. This has been done so that players can enjoy a more long-ranged battle instead of a regular one. You will also see more long ranged scopes instead of regular sights now.
In addition to this, the developers have also made some adjustments to the Blue Zone of Vikendi. According to the patch notes, the safe zone will now spawn in more varied locations and the overall match duration has been reduced by 1 minutes and 30 seconds by making the blue zone move faster. This has also increased the vehicle spawn rate as you will now get to see more vehicles on the map.
Minimap and Flare Gun UI Improvements
The minimap has also been improved through the latest update. If your teammate is outside the minimap, you will be able to now see an arrow through which you will get to know his current direction. This way, you will not have to open the full map to see which direction your teammate is heading towards. In addition to this, the Flare Gun has also received some UI Improvements and the green flashing light has been removed from the airdrop.
Along with all the above-mentioned changes and improvements, Bluehole has also addressed various other issues present in the game. In any case, your gameplay experience is surely going to get better after this update. The changes made to Vikendi are going to offer a brand-new experience for players as they will be able to engage in long-range battles now.
There are still some issues present in the game, but we can expect Bluehole to fix them through the next few updates. All we can do is wait and see what the developers are going to introduce through their next update.
