Riot Games released the new patch for League of Legends to balance some of the Champions. A lot of adjustments have been made to balance the game. No new skins, features, or content came out in this release. However, all these features are expected in the next patch.
Riot Games mainly focused on the ADC Champions to balance the game. Most of them are nerfed to provide an equal chance to enemies. The new patch nerfed the strongest ADC Champion, Caitlyn. Similarly, to balance the game, Riot Games buffed some of the weakest Champions as well. The update buffed the underappreciated champions like Varus, Kai’Sa, and Xayah for the players to take an interest.
The update mainly focused on champions of the game. No other changes came out this time. Several heroes received buffs and nerf to balance the game. The bonus damage ration and attack damage ration of Aatrox is changed to 0.2/0.25/0.3 and 0.2/0.3/0.4 respectively. The movement speed of the strongest ADC of the game, Caitlyn, is changed from 330 to 325. A significant reduction in the damage of Evelynn is also done. The base damage of Dart and Spike is reduced overall.
The patch focused on champions in each lane. The famous offlane champion, Gragas is buffed in this patch. His armor is increased from 35 to 38. The hero is now stronger than ever and his popularity will definitely increase. Another underappreciated champion Kai’Sa received a buff. Its attack damage is increased from 1.7 to 2.
The biggest nerf is done to Lux. Almost each of her attributes is nerfed. The shield is reduced from a 150 maximum to 125. The Barrier’s mana cost is also increased. The update has changed the mana cost from 60 to 60/65/70/75/80. The hero also received a modification in its ability. The bug for triple casting is removed.
Sona also received a significant nerf. The champion got its overall health and mana reduced. Moreover, all of its spells are somehow modified. The Hymn of Valor’s damage ratio is decreased from 0.5 to 0.4. The Area of Perseverance’s health ratio is decreased from 0.25 to 0.2. The Song of Celerity’s movement speed is reduced from 20 percent (0.03 per 100 ability power) to 20 percent (0.02 per 100 ability power). The Aura bonus speed is also reduced for the Champion.
Yone has also received a spell modification in the new patch. Its Mortal Steel’s base damage is decreased from 20/45/70/95/120 to 20/40/60/80/100. The life steal of its Fate Sealed no longer works at 100 percent effectiveness. The patch brought several other minor changes to the Champions to make the game more interesting.
This patch lacked cosmetics and other features, but these things will flow in the next run.
