Blizzard is also celebrating 25 years of Azeroth for the upcoming BlizzCon. Because of this, they have decided to treat their fans with two new legendary skins that have been added to the game through the latest update. However, keep in mind that both Illidan Genji and Tyrande Symmetra will be available for those who are either BlizzCon attendees or have purchased a digital ticket of the said event.
Changes to the Game
Aside from all this, Blizzard has made some changes and improvements to various sections of the game through the latest update. For instance, the developers have now changed the layout of the Arcade Menu. The menu will now display seven cards and will provide you with more options for the game modes. In addition to this, players will be glad to know that the competitive ranking queue for three-vs-three Lockout Elimination of season 2 is also now live.
Changes to Heroes
Blizzard has also made some changes to Sigma. The hero has always been criticized for being too mobile, and for the fact that he can easily save himself and his teammates from incoming attacks by his shield. Because of this very reason, the developers have decided to make some changed to him. For instance, from now on, Sigma will not be able to block Chain Hook or Whip Shot. The regeneration rate of Sigma’s Experimental Barrier has also been reduced to 150 from 175 per second.
Symmetra and Roadhog have also received some changes through the latest update. Symmetra’s Photon Barrier’s duration has been reduced from 15 to 12 seconds, and it health has dropped to 4000 from 5000. Her Sentry Turret’s damage per second has also reduced to 40 from 50. On the other hand, Roadhog has received an extra round for his Scrap Gun.
Aside from this, Blizzard has made a few more changes to some other heroes through the update. According to them, these changes have been made to give players a longer window to react to incoming attacks. The developers have also fixed a few bugs that were present in some sections of the game. In any case, your game will surely improve after this update.
