Overwatch fans are always hungry for new content and events. Although Blizzard treats them with new heroes and events from time to time, players just can’t get enough. The developers are well known for introducing seasonal events in Overwatch, such as Halloween Terror. And with these new events comes new content.

As Blizzard is always trying its best to introduce exciting new content to the game, players always have something to look forward too. So without any further due, here is what you can expect to see in the coming months.

Upcoming Events

At the moment, Overwatch fans are enjoying the Halloween Terror event. This Halloween-themed event is an annual Overwatch event that brings exciting new stuff to the game. The event is currently scheduled to end on November 4, meaning that fans are given around three weeks to enjoy it.

During this time period, we can play Junkenstien’s Revenge and unlock as many skins as we can. And once the event concludes, the next event is going to be Winter Wonderland. For those who don’t know, Winter Wonderland is another annual Overwatch event that is based on Christmas. Once the event goes live, you can expect to see some exciting new skins and challenges.

Who Will Be The Next Hero?

Overwatch fans always get excited when they hear news about new heroes. They are always craving to play with new characters. For those who don’t know, Blizzard has a habit of releasing new heroes every four months. However, they always start teasing them one the month prior to their release. The same happened with Sigma as he was added to the game in August.

As Sigma was added in August, Blizzard might reveal Hero 32 next month. At the moment, we currently don’t know exactly who the next hero is going to be. It can be anyone from Mauga to Max. There are a lot of characters that are yet to be added to the game, so all we can do is wait and see what the developers have in mind for us. We won’t know for sure until Blizzard gives us a hint. We can also expect the developers to tease the new hero during BlizzCon, an event that will start on November 1 and will end on November 3. For those who don’t know, both Moira and Ashe were revealed during BlizzCon 2017 and 2018 respectively. And what better time would it be for Blizzard to reveal the next hero other than the biggest event of their company.

Overwatch 2 To Get Revealed Soon?

BlizzCon 2019 is also expected to serve as an announcement stage for something really big. At the start of this year, some reports surfaced claiming that the developers are working on Overwatch 2.

A streamer who goes by the name Metro on Twitch recently claimed that Overwatch’s sequel is going to get revealed at BlizzCon this year. Metro is the very streamer who previously accurately predicted Ashe’s reveal at BlizzCon 2018.

In any case, Overwatch fans have a lot to look forward to this year.
