Paris Eternal are one of those teams that are making massive changes to their staff recently. For those who don’t know, they are actually preparing for the upcoming Overwatch League 2020 Season. And now, the Eternal have decided to give the position of their coach to someone else.

Paris Eternal

New Coach

Recently, Paris Eternal announced that they have decided to hire Kim “NineK” Beom-hoon as their new coach for the 2020 Season. NineK is the very guy who was once the assistant coach for the San Francisco Shock. And now, the latter is going to serve as the new coach of the Eternal with the hopes of taking his team to the top. However, it is yet to be revealed whether he is going to be the head coach or the assistant coach of his new team.

NineK’s Past Experience

NineK is a really experienced coach who has served  as the coach of many popular teams. At first, he was a coach for NRG Esports, and was later picked up by San Francisco Shock during the first season of the Overwatch League. During his time in Shock, the latter helped them achieve many great things. He even managed to help his team with winning the grand finals of the second season of the league.

The previous head coach of the Eternal, Felix “FeFe” Munch left the team to become the head coach of Toronto Defiant. In addition to this, the team has also dropped their assistant coach as well as their team manager. Their assistant coach even announced that he is currently looking for some other opportunities. This is something that leaves us wondering whether NineK has been hired as a head coach or an assistant coach. Regardless of this, the Eternal are still going to need to hire one more coach.

Many fans were surprised after NineK was added to the team as the coach. The expansion team was originally made before the second season of the Overwatch league even began. Since then, the team has only added European talent and has relied on no one else. Every player and the staff had a connection with the European Overwatch scene, and this is the very reason why the team has always tried to shine in this very region.

They Will Have To Improve

With the addition of NineK, fans can expect to see many improvements in the team. However, only time will tell whether the team has actually learned things from him or not. They finished 14th during the 2019 season, and they are now recruiting even more talented people. Other teams are also trying their best to improve their staff and team for the upcoming league. For instance, Huston Outlaws recently picked up Hydration to enhance their roster.

At the moment, fans are eagerly waiting to see what other changes Paris Eternal are going to make before moving on to the 2020 league.
