Ubisoft’s first online presentation governed by Assassin’s Creed and Watch Dogs, called Ubisoft Forward, was hosted this weekend which was a live stream of different announcements akin to Nintendo Directs. This kind of platform has a lot being recreated by publishers after the cancellation of E3. In this Livestream, Ubisoft announced their new Battle Royale game called Hyper Scape. Hyperscape is a Battle Royale existing in the open beta but looking for a tad bit different out masquerade.

Hyper Scape, a free-to-play Battle Royale game that is accessible to anyone and is for free. It has the same pattern of play, 100 players battle against each other till the end of the round. Its main competitors include Warzone, PUBG, Fortnite, and Apex.

What makes Hyper Scape stand out?

A lot of focus and emphasis is put on the game’s background as the game was announced in a polished trailer. The most distinctive factor is its world of VR. The people can escape the present world into futuristic prospects of Virtual Reality. The mythology and lore behind the game is one of the biggest attractions and makes it stand out amongst its competitors.

The ideology behind the Hyper Scape’s lore is that it is based on a futuristic city of Neo Arcadia. Belonging to a sci-fi futuristic genre, the gameplay is pretty similar to what is already in the market. However, the difference is the graphics of the game making it almost lifelike and real to experience.

In this game, there is a Solo mode where the player has to compete with 100 different players as well as a three-player squad. The mode is called Crown Rush Squad, where teams can play and compete with each other. Hack Runner Squad and Turbo mode are available too. LTM’s also appear in the game. There are a lot of different offerings to the paid customer but Hyper Scape has a free 30-tier Battle Pass.

Hyper Scape availability

As by entering in the Open Beta as a free-to-play game, Hyper Scape is readily available in regions of North America and Europe currently. As soon as the game leaves its initial testing phase, the customer database will be expanded to Xbox and PS4.

Like its competitors, Hyper Scape is running to become a market leader like Warzone or Fortnite. It is planning to introduce an in-depth Twitch-integration for its customers. The players will be able to join streamers through Twitch chat and cast their votes in-game while playing and experiencing almost real-life events.

If you are in the right region, you can also try Hyper Scape. In a few days, a Creator’s cup is also going to take place which is quite different from ordinary tournaments. Instead of gamers and fans, the creators of the game will take part in the tournament. Multiple developers will join the tournament for a shared prize pool. This is a unique selection but we will have to wait and observe how it can help Hyper Scape to build a competitive community.
