Apex Legends debuted back in February and became one of the most popular battle royale titles out there. As it featured a new and unique gameplay experience, the game instantly managed to attract a lot of players. However, the game slowly started to lose its popularity because Respawn has not been adding any new content in the game, and players are starting to get bored.
As reported earlier, many players have complained about the lack of content in the game. In fact, players have not seen any major update since the one which added Octane in the game. In addition to this, the game is also filled with a lot of bugs and glitches, which sometimes ruin the gameplay experience of many players. However, it seems like Respawn is now trying to improve the game as the developers have recently promised to fix the lag issue which many players face.
Lag Issues in Apex Legends
For those who don’t know, many players have claimed that they face lag issues during many of their matches. The lag basically occurs at the start of a match, when there are a lot of players present in the map. Although it does not always happen, it still ruins the mood of many players as they get frustrated because of the lag within the first few minutes of the match. However, Respawn has claimed that they are well aware of this issue and are working on a fix for it.
Gather round, Legends. We've got an update from the team on where we're at and where we're going.

Respawn Considers It A Top Priority
Respawn Entertainment stated that the lag does not happen because a machine is overloaded, but because one machine tries to do more work. In addition to this, they further claimed that they are currently trying to find out which machine performs the extra-work so they can identify the main problem. What caught our attention the most is that Respawn claimed it to be an “issue of extreme priority,” meaning that players who are frustrated because of this issue will soon be able to enjoy the game as before.
Although we currently don’t know exactly when the fix will arrive, we can expect it to get added through the next update. Apex Legends viewership was decreased from 40 million hours to 10 million hours all because of such issues and Respawn will not want to lose more of its players by delaying solving these issues. They need to keep on trying their best to solve such issues as it might bring their players back.
Earlier this week, the developers left many fans disappointed after they confirmed that they are going to stick with seasonal updates for the game. Despite the fact that many fans are leaving the game because of the lack of content, Respawn still claimed that they do not want to overwork their team by making them work on weekly updates. According to them, before they start adding more and more content, they first want to work on improving the stability of the game.
