Like other positions, in the Bot Lane there are multiple options to play the role of Support in League of Legends. Today, let’s focus only on those supports that are not so complex and that will serve you well in the current Meta. Here are the four best champions that will provide exceptional support to the bot lane.

Soraka

You don’t have to be a highly skilled player to play Soraka. Basically it’s a support that heals a selected ally and heals her entire team with her ultimate ability. She can also deal some damage from other abilities while healing herself, rooting and silencing her opponents.

She is a support who can make her ADC or other ally almost immortal in the lane. After all, her healing ability, Astral Infusion (W), sacrifices her HP to heal her ally. Just have good sense in using your abilities and do not get too low in the lane.

Janna

Perhaps one of the easiest supports who has the best disengage in League of Legends. Her abilities are one of the best when it comes to interrupting the enemy team when they are engaging your team. With hurricanes and other wind-related spells, Janna can lift the enemies off the ground for a few seconds. Her spells slow down the movement speed while her ultimate can push them away and heal her allies.

Alongside her disengaging abilities, she has the Storm’s Eye (E) ability. With it she grants considerable shield to its ADC or other ally.  This spell also holds some of the damage and increase the Attack Damage of the allies. She is a very interesting and simple champion to play.

Leona

Leona is an excellent choice for those who prefer a little more aggressiveness in League of Legends. Being able to take decent damage, Leona makes a good front line and causes a lot of problems to the enemy team.

When playing with her, just be careful not to go too aggressive and forget about your teammates. Use the Zenith Blade (E) ability, the main spell for her to approach the enemy. However, it gets a bit tricky to make a retreat in case something goes wrong.

Blitzcrank

One of the most entertaining supporters in League of Legends, Blitzcrank does not have enough resources to protect his allies. However a good use of the Power Fist skill (Q) is enough to guarantee a team elimination. Just like Soraka, this champion does not have a high complexity curve. Just remember that Blitzcrank consumes a lot of mana when using his skills.

Blitzcrank is also a good champion for you to train your hooks. After all, hitting the Rocket Grab may not be a simple task at first. However, as you learn to predict your opponent’s’ footsteps and learn their skills, you will be able to have an incredible understanding of the game. Just be very careful when using this ability; there is always risk of endangering your own team with the pull of a wrong target.
