After eight years Danil “Dendi” Ishutin has parted ways with one of the oldest Dota 2 teams.

What has been rumored to date is no longer a secret. Na’Vi officially announced that Dendi will not be part of their 2018-2019 roster. Four of the players from the lineup that played in the TI 8 qualifiers, Dendi, General and LiL are no longer part of the new Na’Vi 2018-2019 team.

The journey of Dendi

Danil ” Dendi ” Ishutin has been with the team since Dota 2’s release. His name is almost united with Na’Vi, but now for the first time this year, we will not be able to see it in yellow. In 2011, the first victory in The International was the real breakthrough, and we got to see him in the next two finals. Then he went on to be one of the best mid laners in the world. However, after the 2013 TI, problems have been rising for the Na’Vi team.

Even though Dendi has repeatedly been given the opportunity to rebuild the squad, he has just failed to find the working formula for the team. In the past years, they didn’t have any big success, so it’s no coincidence that the team has decided to upgrade. One of the upgrades is that Magical takes Dendi’s place in the middle.

Magical is currently ranked 50 Immortal Player and here are some stats about him. He has played 926 matches with Templar Assassin, 670 Tinker, and 564 Storm Spirit according to his DOTABUFF profile.

For now, it is not known where one of the most popular Ukrainian players how would pursue his career. Regardless of whether Dendi remains in the organization or finds a new team, the Na’Vi CEO will be in your best interest if you want to about the current affairs of the team.

The new Na’Vi roster emerges

In the video published recently, Na’Vi CEO, Zolotarov said that creating a completely new team would be too risky because there is never a guarantee of good cooperation between players. So, Akbar ” SoNNeikO ” Butaev returns and will be the captain of the team. Zolotarov also added that during the last 3 years Na’Vi played brilliantly when SoNNeikO was part of the lineup.

Crystallize joins Sonneiko, who is the only remaining member of the TI8 regional qualifier team, and Evgeniy ” Blizzy ” Ree arrives next to them, who competed with Vega Squadron last season.

Zolotarov has stated that the team is currently 80% complete. So, there is nothing more he can do apart from hoping for the best. Dendi, Ilya ” Lil ” Those – who joined Na’Vi this February – will also not be included in the first team. In addition, former offlaner Viktor ” GeneRaL ” Nigrini and coach Alexander ” XBOCT ” Dashkevich are no longer part of the future Na’Vi.
