Apex Legends players will be glad to know that they will soon get to enjoy a brand new limited-time event next week. For those who don’t know, this is the first time since the game’s release that a limited-time mode is coming to it. Respawn made this announcement on their official blog where they revealed some interesting details about this upcoming event.

Legendary Hunt Event

The event is titled “Legendary Hunt” and it will start on Tuesday, June 4th. The event will last for around two weeks and will feature a set of challenges through which players will be able to earn various rewards. Through these challenges, they can get their hands on Rare, Epic, and Legendary Skins. In addition to this, you will be able to earn Double XP from June 7 till June 10.

What the Event Will Feature

The Legendary Hunt event is also going to feature an Epic skin for Bloodhound. The skin is titled as “Master of the Hunt” and it can be unlocked by completing a set of challenges. In addition to this, there is also going to be a skin for Wraith and the R-301 rifle. According to Respawn, those who have the Wild Frontier Battle Pass will automatically get the Legendary Honored Prey R-301 skin. On the other hand, in order to get your hand on Wraith’s Night Terror Legendary Skin, you will have to reach Battle Pass Level 15 before the event ends.

New Game Mode?

At the moment, Respawn is yet to reveal whether the Legendary Hunt event will feature a new mode or not. Players might just have to complete a list of challenges during their regular matches but will be exciting to see a new mode. Back in April, the developers did claim that new modes will be soon added to Apex Legends, but they haven’t provided any new information regarding them since then. Who knows, maybe they want to give their fans a little surprise through the next event.

In any case, the event is surely going to offer a really amazing gameplay experience. Many fans are currently really exciting for it as they haven’t seen anything like this since the game was released. If players give positive feedback at the end of the event, then we can surely expect Respawn to feature more events like this every month. Such events can also lead to many positive things for the developers themselves as they can keep players attached to the game through them.

Apex Legends had some ups and downs during the previous two months. Many players left the game because of the lack of content, and the game also became a target for hackers. However, it seems like Respawn has finally understood what players want. In addition to this, during EA’ live conference in June, the developers are also going to reveal Apex Legends season 2.
